Outlook 2002 can not enter text into email body

I can enter data into the address and subject lines, but when trying to create/forward email, the curser will not show in the body of the e-mail. If I tab down to where the body is, no matter what key I press, the ~ symbol is displayed.

Try this first. Go to Tools, Options, Other, Advanced Options, Custom Forms, Manage Forms and click the clear cache button. If that doesnt work check to see if you are using to edit email.

If anyone calls and says "I know a little something about computers" just tell them to reformat it.
