I just got a new computer running Win XP and need to send a database to my boss. I'm using Outlook 2000 but I keep getting the message "outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments (name of my attachment)".

I've searched the Internet but can't find any help. Has anybody else run into this? Any fixes? Ann

Thanks for the response but I had alread downloaded and installed that software. I does let me send an mdb attachment but upon receipt of the email and attachment a warning message says you must save the file to disk before you can open it. So, I save it to the hard drive and try to open it but then get this message: Outlook cannot save the URL to a file. Can't find this file. Make sure the path and file name are correct.

I'll try going to the software developer's website if nobody else around here has resolved the problem. (I tried getting help from the website once before without success.)

Anyway, thanks again. Ann

Downloaded what???
Just follow smah's link and go to the MS site posted there by him.
At MS, start at 'After you apply this fix, use the Level1Remove and Level1Add registry keys ....'
Where it says exe,com add your mdb If the solution is out there, let us know it was helpful, so others can benefit from it as well..
