Outlook 2000 connected to exchange 2003 - some machines will automaticly update the inbox count and show new messages in the inbox BUT some will need to be refreshed by e.g. clicking out and back into the inbox before they'll show the new messages. I gues it's a client not exchange config issue, any one any ideas?

Are the ones that don't get the refresh on the other side of a router or firewall? If so, make sure UDP packets are allowed through. The new mail notification is a UDP packet.

Also, if some of those machines have had XP SP2 installed, see
