Outlook 2000 wants to use Exchange, I don't!

Hello,
I have a wierd thing happening to me today. I am trying to set up outlook 2000 for a new user. This is the first time Outlook has been configured on this box (win98). Instead of letting me choose which type of of mail I want (pop3, exchange, etc) it is defaulting to exchange. That's great an all, but I don't have an exchange server. Any ideas?

Are you trying to configure Outlook through Outlook or through Start - Settings?
