Using Outlook 2000 on NT 4.0 WK, configured as a corporate client. It is attached to an exchange mailbox, but is also hitting a POP3 account on a UNIX box.

I set up the Internet e-mail service and set it to remember passwords and it is connecting and receiving mail from the POP3, BUT... at random times a pop-up box arrives asking for the password for the POP3 account. If you enter the password and click ok the box immediately re-appears, even when you select Remember Password. If you cancel the box it goes away for a few minutes, then comes back. During this time you are still receiving your POP3 mail (very, very strange). After a while (an hour or more) the pop-up boxes stop arriving.
