Outlook 2000 - ver, Send/Receive icon - can't restore.

Have backed up 'outlook.pst' file to second hard drive.
I think I should reload Outlook?

Windows 98 SE, Outlook 2000 SR-1

The Send / Receive icon is missing on the toolbars.

1. I have repaired the installation - does not fix problem.

2. I have done at DOS prompt
c:scanreg /recover - day before problem happend
problem still there.

Look at the small down arrow, all the way to the right of the toolbar - select 'Add or Remove Buttons' - what do you see?

I sent this info to my client who will check this, but it may be a few days, maybe Mon 4/18/2005. (I am sure we tried this several times with no option to add 'Send/Receive' button). I'll double check.

This worked to solve the problem:

We upgraded the drive on his laptop, changed to Win XP, Office 2003, and transferred all important files to new drive.
