Hi guys,

We are running Exchange 2000 with Outlook 2000 clients. The OS is Windows XP SP2.

This issue only applies to one user. When he clicks on Tools>Synchronize>All folders Outlook begins to sync, however, prompts for username/password and domain.

When you try and type in the users password an error message will appear displaying that the credentials are incorrect.

Changing his password does not resolve this.

I have also tried the following to no avail:

If he clicks cancel when the prompt appears several times Outlook will synchronize.

If you require further information please let me know.

All help appreciated as usual!

The user had been abroad and had a static IP and DNS settings on his laptop.

Set to DHCP, all OK!
