I have a new PC that was never set to the right timezone after setting it up. Outlook 2000 was installed soon thereafter. A while after that, it was discovered that the timezone was 5 hours off...should have been EST. So, the timezone was set to EST. This caused all appointments to be set back 5 hours early than what they should be. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling Outlook, new appointments created are automatically set back 5 hours. The timezone and time are all correct now.

What can I do?

Thanks for your help,
CH

Hi,

I know there a is a timezone bug in windows, where the timzone selected is not actually the one it is set to.

The only fix for this I have found is.

1. Change the timezone you are in to another one.
2. Reboot.
3. Change back to the correct timezone
4. Reboot again.

Not sure if this will help, but its worth a try, if you havnt already.

Paul
