Yes, however, Id remove your Office 97 first. Then install Office 2k followed by the individual components of 97. Make sure you choose seperate folders for the 97 components. If you were to look on our C:\ drive you would see something like
c:\Access97
C:\Word97
c:\Excel97
Do a search on MS knowledge base, it actually covers installing Office 2k and 97 rather well.
