Hi,
One of my users with Windows NT4.0/sp6a and Outlook 2000 has a problem with Outlook. The Outlook will disapear and shut down by itself. I have redone the mail box, MS Office and even the operating system. Anybody has any Idea why?
Thanks in advance.

sounds like a case for Paul Daniels!
Does Outlook work for a bit and then all of a sudden shut down? Is it during working or does it happen as soon as you start it up???

try installing a couple of service packs, ie, the Nt sp6 again, and the Office or Outlook SP, depending on where Outlook was installed from....other than that I cant advise much more with more info...... Jay~

Jay,
Thank you for the response. Yes, Outlook works for a bit and then all of a sudden shuts down. it is during working, after couple of minutes that it start up.
I installed all latest service packs for NT and Outlook, but the same thing happens.

try deleting all the temp files and your temp internet files, short disk space could be the problem here????? Jay~

Looks like the McAfee AntiVirus and Diskeeper were causing the problem.

Thank for the help
