Outlook 2000 Sent Items Issue

I have a problem with a machine not saving sent items in Outlook 2000.

I have tried all the obvious, removed the save sent items check box, re-checked it. I've created a new PST file with a new E-mail account with the same problem.

I have searched everywhere for a resolution and have come up with no answers.

Anyone have any ideas what else I could try???

Try creating a new 'Profile' - Control Panel, Mail, Show Profiles, New.....

You can then point this new profile to the existing .pst file so that you keep all your data. Strange problems like this are often the result of corrupt profiles.

Finally Resolved the issue!

Default mail program had been altered back to OExpress so when sending E-Mail from within applications it was reverting back to use the old Outlook Express account. Thus all sent items were being held in that app.

Simple really - feel a bit stupid but hey I was dealing with the problem remotely!
