Hello,

One of the clients on my network is frustrated by constantly recieving the Windows Security message they're getting from Outlook 2000 that insists they save email to their hard drive before opening. I know that this is a part of the MS Office SR1 update but I want to get this person off my back. I've tried to roll back Office SR-1 but after uninstalling I am unable to locate the OfficeHotFix file and remove that. SR-1 is uninstalled but all Office programs still say they have SR1 installed in the product details. Any ideas?

Cheers
Nick

In order to do what you want, you will need to completely remove office. Then reinstall, but do not update to SP1 (or greater). There are also a couple of third party tools that can be used under the right conditions. For more info, see
