Outlook 2000 saving attachment problem

I have a situation where I have one e-mail message with many attachments (up to 100). I have a VB program that goes through the attachments and saves each one, but as a .msg file. I would like to add to my vb code to take each attachment and save it as .txt. When you open each attached file and then save it, it does save as .txt.
