Hi,
How do I get a hold of the file that makes up de the list
of words that you want Outlook 2000 to perform an action once one of the words is found in a message that has arrived.

In trying to filter unwanted message I have included so many words that is not easy to manage in Outlook. If posible I would like to modify the file of words in
a word processor application.

Unfortunately I don't believe what you want is going to be possible. The rule a long with the list of workds is kept in a file with a .rwz extension. You can't edit this file in a word processing application.

The file would be at profiles\username\application data\microsoft\outlook\username.rwz (or application data\microsoft\outlook\username.rwz if you don't use profiles). It will open in Notepad. You can copy and paste to a word processor application.

A warning though, you'll get all the rules you have set up, in their entirety. Depending on how many other rules you have set up, it may not be worth the effort. Also, I don't think you could update the original file very easily using this method. Have a look and see if it will work for you.

Cheers.
