Is there some way to retrieve a single deleted message. It was a SENT message and the user is frantic to get it back.

OUTLOOK 2000 - RETRIEVE DELETED MESSAGE

Was it deleted from the SENT ITEMS folder, and then the DELETED ITEMS was emptied? If you're not using Exchange server, then, no.

Yes, the message was permanently deleted from the deleted folder. Yes, we are using Exchange Server. Any advice?
If you go into the DELETED ITEMS folder, and do a TOOLS>RECOVER DELETED ITEMS, is it in there? If not, time to restore to a Recovery Storage Group and export to a .pst file.
