Outlook 2000 Reminders not working

I have a user that swears up and down that she hasn't jacked with her settings for Reminders. What happens is she will setup a reminder and it will never work. I have tried the switches for /clearviews and /clearreminders and these don't seem to help. The clearreminders also never releases the other reminders as it is supposed to. If I log onto her machine with my logon it works fine. This seems to be a profile issue. Does outlook have any paticular privelages that need to be added? I couldn't find anything/anywhere.

Don't know if you are saying you tried this but have a look at tools/options/other/advanced options/reminder options. and make sure the buttons are ticked next to show etc.
