Outlook 2000 - "Can't Open Item"

Occasionally when I receive emails, I cannot open the email as I get the message "Can't Open Item" this is very annoying. Is there a reason for this?

That could happen for several reasons. I've usually seen that if there is a problem with the original email or the PST file, where the email is corrupt. Also, in some cases, you can have Outlook configured to only download the headers and, so, you'd only be able to see the actual email when your online (so it can download the full contents). Check you email settings and also run MAILBOX CLEANUP and COMPACT on your PST file to help clean up bad entries. Hopet this helps.
