Outlook 2000 quits when I click to Reply to HTML emails

Hi,

Windows 2000 Professional
Office 2000

Just suddenly since last Thursday, when I click on Reply to reply to an email in my Outlook Inbox, a dialogue pops up saying the outlook.exe has generated errors and will be be closed. I click on O.K. and then the Outlook application closes.
This problem ONLY happens when I am replying to emails that are in HTML format. If I reply to an email that is plain text the problem does NOT occur.

I'm wondering if there is any link to anti-virus software installed ?

Anybody else heard of this problem ?

There are a few possibilities, but because it only happens with HTML mail, my first suspicion would be because of some add-in. See

Hi,

Just to let everyone know, this problem is now fixed and was resolved by re-installing Internet Explorer web browser.

Hope this helps anyone else who may have this problem one day!
