Outlook 2000 Progress Bar runs on every send/receive

Hi.. A user is running outlook 2000, with auto send/recieve set at 12 minutes.

Even tho the "hide details" box is checked, the progess bar comes up everytime a send/recieve is done. Any ideas on why its running even when its been told not to, and how to fix ?
