The 'Out of office' option is no longer showing in my Tools menu, anyone have any ideas why ? I've tried reinstalling Outlook. Also the Permissions tab isn't showing within folder Properties.
Just want to be sure this is the CW installation of Outlook. If yes then go to TOOLS - OPTIONS - OTHER - ADVANCED OPTIONS - ADD-IN MANAGER.
See if Exchange Extension Commands is listed and that it is checked. If you don't see if then you will need to install the Add-in file outex2.ecf which (depending on where office is installed) typically is under C:\program files\Microsoft Office\Office\Add-ins joegz

Thank joegz, that did it. If you know WHERE to look it's simple. I'd recently removed a trial version of an email templares package, the uninstall must have unticked the relevant check box !!
