Hi all,

This is driving me crazy. I've googled all day and tried lots and lots of suggestions on other forums but getting no where. Hoping some fresh eyes can help!

Basically I have an SBS 2008 box that has Exchange 2007 running on it. One particular PC running Vista Business and Outlook 2000 just won't connect to an Exchange mailbox. The error ruturned is "Unable to open your default email folders. The attempt to log on to the Microsoft Exchange server computer has failed."

If you check the account via the control panel>>Mail you can see that the username and exchange server have resolved.

All DNS settings are correct (pushed out via DHCP) and you can resolve the servername using nslookup fine.

I've removed all AV. Disabled Windows defender, disabled UAC, disabled windows firewall but still no joy.

Tried different users and adding the users to the local admins group on the PC. Also tried with the domain admin account.

Logging in via webmail from that PC is fine.

HAs anyone got ANY suggestions? This is killing me!

Many thanks

R
