Outlook 2000 hangs

My Outlook 2000 installation is really sluggish. It sporadically "hangs" for 15-20 seconds. When I'm writing emails, when I'm trying to open emails and more

Using win 2000 on my pc (laptop), Exchange (NT 4, sp6). /Sören

Have you virus software on your machine? Try disabling that a bit and see if that helps... Jay~

I have F-secure installed. I'll try to disable it and see what happens...

Which editor are you using in Outlook? Do you get the same response if switch to another editor such as RTF or Plain text?

If switching editors makes no difference do you get the same type of response if you try from another machine? Try to narrow down is it an issue with your mailbox on your Exchange server or if it is Outlook.

I'm trying to sync Outlook with my cellular phone. I've therefor installed some software from ericsson that might be my problem. I'm gonna uninstall that and see what happens. I'll also look into that editor thing. I doubt that it has anything to do with the exchange server since every other user don't share my problem. If the above doesn't work I'll try to configure Outlook on another machine.
