Here's the deal:

Outlook 2000 (sp1a) client connecting to Exchange 5.5.
When the root of the Inbox is selected instead of displaying contents I get "unable to display the folder" on a gray background. Also the deleted items shows -1 unread items even after I empty it. I've checkd for viruses with the latest etrust update, I've created a new profile, reinstalled office. If I arhive or copy the inbox I can see everything. Any ideas would be of great help.

That sounds like a permissions issue or at least permissions related. If the clients goes to another machine and tries to connect to the server does it work correctly?

If so perhaps the Windows profile should be recreated. joegz
