OUTLOOK 2000 - ERROR SYNCHRONIZING FOLDER 2

I am using Outlook 2000, connecting through dial-up-networking, and when I try to synchronize get the message "error synchronizing older - client operation failed Microsoft exchange server information store.

This then points to a microsoft link which advises to delete the *.ost file, which I have done without any joy.

Any help appreciated

Did you try reinstalling NetFolder?

Sometimes the outlook profile and ost file gets corrupted and you have to recreate the profile on your outlook client and recreate the ost file (do not use the same ost file, use a different file name). I have had this happen before and if you recreate the outlook profile and the ost file you will be ok.
