Hi,
Anyone have a suggestion for this problem.
Laptops running Windows 2000, use the office internet connection during the day to connect to a POP server.
When the laptops are taken out of the office, and plugged into a phone socket, Outlook will not initiate a dial up connection automatically. If I start an internet connection by double clicking on Internet Explorer, Outlook can then see the POP server. We need to retain the ability (if possible) for the laptop to dial up, if there is no network connection to the internet present. This works fine on Win98, but doesnt seem to work on Win2k
Grateful for any assistance
Ricky
