Outlook 2000 Deleting Inbox Contents 1

Ok, here is my problem.

We just set up a new user on our exchange 5.5 and we are having an unusual problem whenever this user responds to an email about 5 minutes or so later that message is removed from their inbox. It is a most perplexing problem. I checked all the settings and they appear to be correct. He is running Win 2K as am I when I set up his account on my computer and the problem I've setup his account on my machine.

We have gone so far as deleting account off of the exchange server and re-creating it. The problem still persists. If anyone knows what might be causing this problem I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Check on the services tab under delivery that the mail is not being delivered to a .pst file instead of the users in- box on Exchange. That can create the problem you are seeing. If that's not it - make sure that there are no rules set up that would move the mail from the in box or delete it. Good luck!
