Outlook 2000 Delay Receiving Emails

Hi:

I have one user that is using Outlook 2000 and only receives emails when she closes Outlook and re-opens it. Any suggestions?

If it's setup just with a POP3 account, check the SEND/RECEIVE settings in Outlook. It's not likely set to automatically check every x minutes.

Thanks for your post, but I actually found the answer in another thread. The issue was resolved because I disabled the MS Firewall.

Rather than disable the firewall, just add outlook.exe to the list of exceptions.
