I have 2 users that when scrolling through there contacts list it will lock and then outlook will crash with an exception error.

Their contacts are part of a pst. I have already tried pst scan will no results. I have also rerun all current service packs.

Any ideas?

If you cannot determine if it is one specific entry which causes this, try an Office Repair through Control Panel - Add/Remove Programs.

If 'something' 'somewhere' gives 'some' error, expect random guesses or no replies at all. Please specify details.

I have tried that also. When I check the dump log I get the Exception number: c00000fd (stack overflow) error.

Thanks

I guess your next option is to save the PST, remove the profile and re-create it.
Then import the data (do the contacts first to save time if it should fail), and see what happens.

The pst is saved...hence a pst. When you say profile are you refering to the user profile or just their exchange profile?

My users in question have delivery set to the pst so that all information goes there versus being stored in the mailbox.

I meant, save a copy ;-) , I know it is saved by default!

Removing the Outlook Profile, so yes, the Exchange one on the Client-PC, that is why I said, save it, a copy somewhere else, just in case.
