I've read most if not all posts pertaining to sharing calendars in office 2k without having exchange server installed... I've since attempted to share folders between 3 people, the sharing worked fine, and any updates sent by the members were viewable by the owners.

My Question is: The current owners schedule did not update the shared calendar with pre-existing items. I was under the impression (possibly wrong) that it would happen that way. Is there a way to make it work?

Example: User A has a full schedule, his secretary (User B) needs access to his calendar to add/edit/delete items. After sharing User A calendar User B gets a blank schedule (not pre-populated) where she is able to add items that appear on User A's schedule. Is there a way? Under permissions it seems to be that editor level should be able to view/edit/delete items already existing.

I'm trying to get calendars shared between a few people. Without Exchange, I've tried using Net folders. I wasn't able to get the owners calendar to sync with the members calendar, although any changes made by the member would show up on the owner's.

In so trying, I exported the current owners calendar, and imported it into the member's calendar. It solved the problem of syncing (although I still don't think new entries on the owner's would sync with the member), but any changes made by the member on both old and new entries were copied over to the owners calendar.

My problem is that when it updated, the members calendar sent duplicates of every entry. So I need some way to get rid of the current calendar and start over... I can't seem to do it without creating a whole new profile...

Any help out there?

Thanks, Justin

Sorry. Just the part about deleting the calendar entries:

Can't you just choose the calendar, (make sure you're using the advanced toolbar) and tell it to show "current appointments". Click on one of them, hit ctrl-a and hit delete?
