We have Outlook 2000 running on Windows 2000-30 people-same configuration. One computer loses the printer defaults to print emails. When you click on File and then priint to display the printer dialog box, there is no default printer listed-the box is empty. You have to use the drop down box to select the proper printer--and then Outlook does not use the printing preferences for that printer-to print to a mailbox on the copier/printer. Everyone else works fine. TIA for any help.

Do other programs print okay? Have you tried completely uninstalling all of the software for that printer/copier and reinstalling it?

Please always take the time to backup any and all data before performing any actions suggested for ANY problem, regardless of how minor a change it might seem. Also test the backup to make sure it is intact.

How's the memory usage on that PC? I had one that continually lost it's printer devices, and rebooting brought them back. Resources were maxed.
