Outlook 2000 & MAPI: Not saving password

Hello All,

I have an Outlook 2000 set up for 2 accounts, one POP3, the other MAPI. It seems the MAPI account refuses to save the password, even after placing the check beside Save Password, I've looked at the MS KB site (Q235864:OL2000), which suggested removing a key within the registry, however this applies on to POP3 accounts, and I did not see the MAPI account user key listed for me to delete, however I did see the POP3 account to delete. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

CORRECTION:

Sorry the title should be OL2000 & IMAP, not MAPI. My questions applies to the IMAP account.
