Outlook 2000 after SP3 - Tasks with attachments don´t work

Hi folks! After we installed Office 2000 SP3 we had following problems within outlook. We use tasks and within the tasks we have attachments as a link. For example a link to an email concerning this task. After installing the SP3 and all security updates it is not possible to open the attachments in the tasks if they are integrated as a link.
What could be the problem?
