Outllok 2000 calendar reminders

I have a user that has old reminders that wont go away. I have tried to open them, reset the snooze, and dismiss and they won't do anything. When you select any option, the screen flickers and goes back to the reminders. I uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook to no avail. Any suggestions??

Yes, you have to delete and recreate the Outlook profile. Reinstalling Outlook does not address the issue. After recreating the profile you will get the reminders again but this time when you dismiss them they should go away permanetly.
