Is there any way to boost the mouthpiece volume on an ACS? Have a customer who states that *some* people, when talking to the customer have trouble hearing. This happens on different lines, *according to the customer*.

The Partner handsets have huge gain capabilities. They'll pick up conversations on the other side of the room easily. There is no software change or hardware tweak you can do to make the handset mic more sensitive. Most customers complain of them being too sensitive, causing feedback.

Tell your customer to remove the twist-stop handset cord devices on all their handsets. 90% of all low volume calls are related to these nefarious objects, of the rest, about 9% are bad handset cords or handsets. The last 1% is hardware or line failures from the CO.
