I am currently doing an install with two NEC NEAX 2000 IVS2's via CCIS link (CCTA 24 cards). I got it working with calling stations to each other. Currently there is an ISDN connection on System A. There are no external connections on System B. Therefore I want to access the ISDN trunks of System A on System B to make outgoing trunk calls. However, I tried pretty much any combination on LCR both with A126 and A129 on both sides etc but only get a busy signal. I know the LCR works as I used it to call a station just to check across the trunk route of the CCIS link. This raises the question for me if Picking up a trunk across CCIS to make an external call is even possible?

Check your settings for command 36. This command allows or denies trunk to trunk transfer on each route. I believe in the IVS2 you would do

360 DE "CCIS Route #" + "PRI Route #" DE 0 EXE
360 DE "PRI Route #" + "CCIS Route #" DE 0 EXE

ex

360>1020>0
360>2010>0

If this doesn't fix it post back

Thank you, this worked. I had done this for trunk route 30, i.e. 360>3030>0 which is the CCIS link trunk routes but did not do this for route 24 which is the outgoing route for system A. So 360>3024>o and 360>2430>0 handled this. Thank you very much for the fast response.
