Hi,
We have an option 11c and a PRI with the outgoing callerid disabled (ANI) by the CO. we have that confirmed and reconfirmed.

When we call out there is a name display on home telephones - where do we disable that?

Currently in ld10 i've said cls= clbd and that is blocking the name and number completely
but the problem with that is we cannot call tel #s that dont take calls from blocked numbers

need help
thanks

THERE IS NO NAME SEND FROM THE MERIDIAN,JUST THE NUMBER

thanks for the prompt reply ...

that is what i thought too ...but the problem seems to be happening ...let me browse around and search

senk1s.... to start, you're in the US, correct? If so, I agree with PerryPJ completly... number is sent forward with the call, but name is retrieved by the far end. So, if they're seeing name, they're also getting number. If you are supposed to be blocked at the CO, then check with telco. The only other version of this I've seen is with Avaya equipment where the 'extension' name programmed in the PBX is sent in an 'additional' setup field for ISDN, and makes it all the way across the network. Are your trunks PRI or something else? It could also be that the receiving telco isn't respecting the privacy flag, if it is actually set correctly.

Yes i'm in the US ...
And let me check again with the CO/ telco. They have confirmed that they are "transparent" and sending out whatever the PBX is sending out

Trunks are PRI - is there any way to give out ANI (like *67) on a per call basis

Change your CLID table settings to only show a main number and not the individual DN number and name.

hi broeking,

can you tell me where and how do i do that?
thanks for your guidance in advance
