so cool I found out how to do it. I read about it but it didn't make sense but all I had to do was:
If you want mail to appear to be "From:" somewhere else, enter that name instead. For example, you can make outgoing mail appear to be from user@dept.uga.edu instead of user@machine.dept.uga.edu by making the line read like this:
DMdept.uga.edu
