outgoing dialed number instead of trunk

It is very possible that we have borked something up on our end but I'll ask anyway. For outgoing calls, is it possible to show the dialed number instead of the trunk it went out on?

We have merlin magix - pri to asterisk pri. Calls in both directions show the correct cid information at the receiving station however calls from avaya to user on sip phone show the trunk number instead of the dialed extension to the avaya phone users.

I'm fine with a keeping digging through the documentation answer but if that will never work then I'd like to save myself some time.

99% of the time I have found what I needed here. I'm not stumbling on to the answer for this question.

no you will only get the trunk ID, to see the number you can use the SMDR , but it will only show after the completion of the call

I could be wrong, but I think you can press the more arrow by the display to see the called number versus the trunk.
