Have a 4000 v7 with a PRI to PSTN. When adding suppcpn to ldat instead of the BTN that is assigned on the PRI at the PSTN side the caller is seeing just our 5 digit extension number on caller Id. In theory if we suppress our calling party number the vendors PRI should be sending the Billing telephone number that we requested. Any ideas. Thanks

Hi,
add in the parameter 'pubnum' in the LDAT
In the SDAT PUBNUM for the extensions add in either the individual extension number calling id or the billing number as required.
Also contact your carrier and find out what is required by them for your ideal id to be shown.

I do most of that stuff in Assistant, but in the Basic3 tab for the station, in addition to having a valid 10-digit number for the phone the Numbering Plan Identifier should be ISDN and the Type of Number (TON) field should be national. On my systems, if I do not have a valid 10-digit number in for the PubNum and either or both of the other 2 parameters are set to Unknown it will normally spit out my main published number for the circuit (or the SPID that was assigned to the circuit when it was first created). I have received phone calls before from places that had strange digits in the caller-id though. Most of those are spam calls.

We want to use the suppcpn but if we change the pub number to our main billing number then 911 gets that number which we don't want. It's only when we send numbers to be suppressed out that ldat route that 5 digits are going out. I don't think we will be able to correct it in the 4000 the vendor is going to have to help on their end.
