outgoing caller ID problems with T1/

has anyone had problems with outgoing caller ID over a T/1? this is NOT a PRI.

can this even work?

we are having a couple of customers with 3.2 software and a T/1 sending outgoing caller ID with extra info that we dont know where its coming from???????

has anyone had this problem or heard of this problem?

If memory serves me, if you do not have a PRI, T1 does not allow you to control or originate the CLID within the IPO because you do not control it the Telco does.

I second aarenot's assesment - with T1 the IP Office has absolutely no control of outbound caller ID info. All is generated by telco.
