Let me start by saying. That I am not a real advanced phone guy. Just an IT guy trying to learn how to make our phone system work better for us.

My company spends a lot of money per month because users can't figure out to dial and extension rather than dial the 4 digit extension at the other office.I figure blocking the outbound numbers is a bad way to make them dial the extension so I figured I would ask and see if someone had a creative way of accomplishing my goal.

Is there a way to reroute the outbound call if a user dials 94805551212 directly to an extension on another IP Office System.

If you can call another IP Office extension on another system, I am thinking you are not in Partner Mode. You must be using regular IP Office Standard or above. If so, you could write short codes to accomplish this to some degree. Can you confirm what you have at each site. Do you have 4 digit extension to extension dialing site to site?
