I have a strange one today...... try calling a long distance number ad rather than dial out, it just hangs up /drops the line. No message or anything? What would I need to look at to see what might be going on there? (Opt 81) Thanks in advance....

So I'm guessing your are dialing 9+1 xxx xxx xxxx ?? If so I'm guessing you are using BARS. Is it a new area code? If not can you make a call to a different # in the same area code? Lots of questions on this one

And what happens when you call that number from another line outside of your PBX?
If that works then you could try an enhanced trace.
LD 80
.entc ll s cc uu hhmm (TN plus duration of the trace in hours and minutes)
.gotr (to start the trace)

Then try the call and see if it goes out on a trunk or hitting some intercept treatment.
