Hello everybody!
I installed qmail using instructions from “Life with qmail” and everything works (with pop3d) except one stylistics problem. When I send mail as an outgoing address I get user@server.domain.net and I would like to have user@domain.net
How can I fix this?

Have that same result
inside: domain.net

Also:
defaulthost
domain.net

locals
domain.net
server.domain.net

me
server.domain.net

plusdomain
domain.net

rcpthosts
domain.net

Also I tried to put only domain.net in all files but same result

Yes it’s the client setting (it uses username + mail server setting to create envelope), but how can I override it

When I saw client, I mean Outlook, Outlook express, the Bat, Eudora, elm, pine, whatever.

Anything that these clients send in the envelope to identify the sender is generally not of interest to qmail, so it doesn't generally mess with these details.

You need to find some support for your client, not qmail, unless I'm grossly misunderstanding your question.
