We are using Avaya 500v2. I am trying to figure out why some configuration is done through the phone to access for example outgoing with option 6. Why cant this be done in the manager? I am also not sure why some mailboxes don't have this option 6 at all and some do. In order to access these features via phone station, how do you change the password for the mailbox, is it under supervisor settings? I am not sure i understand the difference between this password and Voicemail password.
