It is like this. I have 2 queries on my data model editor (Q1, Q2). A data like is from Q1 TO Q2 Is made.

Q1 is not pulling any data out of its select statement. But Q2 does. Since there is a link between Q1 and Q2, final result is no data from both queries. My understanding is if I put outer join between queries (a + sign at Q1 side) Q2 will display data.

How can I put an outer join in Oracle report link?

Any Help?

bandarna:
when creating the data link, you should decide which query act as master query, and which one as detail query. For example your Q1 is master, and Q2 is detail. Then it will automatically create an outer join from Q1 to Q2 (but not vice versa).
