Something of a strange issue, I've got a screen I am setting up in an outdoor environment. I will be having it weather proofed, but this causes a problem. That of making the casing an oven, at the moment it isn't much of an issue but it's not too hot but when the weather gets to 40oC the screen will most likely S$#T itself I would think.

Has anyone heard of an LCD cooling system? I've thought about liquid cooling like the cases but don't know how that would work within an outdoor screen environment?

Cheers!!!!

If you go to the web site of one of the major screen manufacturers you will see that they have ranges of monitors specifically designed for outdoor use, although this is usually under some kind of roof. You're probably better off going for one of those.

If that's not an option, can you not re-think your weather-proofing? Where will the monitor be?

Fans/ducting/chimney's or water tight vents, get some air through the case.
The air pump could be housed seperately and away from the screen with pipes taking the air to the case.
Obviously I'm a bit in the dark not knowing exactly what we are dealing with here.
