With VoiceMail Pro can multiple phone numbers be called when a voice mail is left in a single mailbox? There are three cell phones that need to be called.

So far we have only been able to setup the system so it calls a single number and when the person being called picks up the phone all they hear is dead air.

Should the voice mail prompt them to listen to the message? This is how voice mail systems I worked with in the past worked.

'Fraid not, this is a much longed for feature (outcalling multiple numbers).

Did you add a callback AA callflow for the user (or modify the default one)? Check the docs, it's pretty clearly laid out.

Unfortunately, I am the end user and the company that maintains our IP Office phone system is telling me that you can't configure the system so the autoattendant prompts the user when they receive a call back. I don't have access to the system to check the options.

I have been searching the VoiceMail Pro documentation for info on AA callflow, but have been unable to find this info. Can you tell me where in the VoiceMail Pro documentation the information on AA callflow can be found? I will give this info to the company that maintains our phone system.

Thanks.

Forget it, I found the info in the documentation.

Thanks.

Vaniello,

Its a real shame, the feature you want has been on/off the roadmap so often.

Given that there is a start point for when the callback call is answered, its a real shame we can't also have a start point for making the callback, that could then include esculating assisted transfers.

It would still need programming but get us out of waiting for Avaya to provide it as part of the user interface.

I've never came across that but I haven't had any complaint either.

What exactly do you mean when you say "prompts the user"?
Ext. and pswd? I've tested callback on a cell, and the customer didn't mention not getting the prompts. It just ask him for password because his cell is listed as a trusted number in the source tab.
