magix 1.5 Mer mess r2. System is in key mode (i hate that) I unrestricted the vm ext's, assigned outcalling to the mboxes, and remembered the ars restriction. So you know the problem, i cant change the frl (which is zero) Is there a way around it?
oh, I was just thinking. If I am in key mode do I have to have lines assigned to the vmail ports? To dial 9 for a line doesnt that line have to be on the set?

YEP, but I'd play with getting it into HY-PBX Mode and then assign most of the lines to the phones so it looks like they are in key mode. And then one in a POOL for VM to use to dial out with.

So, What about the frl, is it disabled when in key mode? So i need not pay attention to the frl of 0 on the port? I will wait until they are gone tonight and dial in and test.. Thank you for the help..

FRL applys to ARS, KEY doesn't use ARS, thus, you can not change it.

Yes you could assign the lines to the VM Ports, and it SHOULD work.

Make sure you turn off the ringing.
