I did a search, and after seeing that it past midnight EST, I am giving up and taking the easy way out with a post, so I apologize if this one has been beaten like a dead horse.

I realize, unless someone can correct me, that the IP Office, even in R.3.0, still has the anemic one number, one time Out Calling setup vs. every other Avaya/Lucent/AT&T system since VS Mail R 3.0 or 4.0 that could do 5 numbers in a true cascaded fashion with different timing intervals b/t the cascaded out callings, but is there any way at all that someone has come up with a work around?

I have several customers that are IP Office Candidates vs. Magix b/c of Networking needs, but they are looking to replace answering services at night with Voice Mail that will out call to different people on call, IE, Multi Number Cascaded Out Calling.

Any help or work arounds will be much appreciated.

So far, what I have come up with is this...as 1/2 a$$ as it may be:

A call comes in, the AA answers at night and plays its greeting, and then gets to the part where it tells the caller if the call is an emergency press 7, the caller dials 7 which transfers them to an extension that has simultaneous ring on it...the call rings the extension and the first person on call's cell or home phone...if the call is not answered the on call person will at least see a missed call or, if they have CLID at home, a missed call as well, then the call gets dropped back into the actual VM at that extension which can have Out Calling to a different number set up and the interval can be 15 minutes or so, then the voice mail would grab a line and send out a notification to the second person on call...this time leaving an actual VM on the Cell Phone or a message at home if the out calling is missed live.

The last thing I was thinking was to do a broadcast SMTP notification to a group of on call people or something via the Email portion of voice mail pro...

Again, any thougts or work arounds would be awesome. I look forward to hearing what you guys/girls have to say. Thanks.

If i understand your question right i would try the following :

Create a sequential huntgroup with 5 users in it.
Those users are only software subscribers who are diverted to external numbers with the option "Divert huntgroup calls" ticked.
Set the ring time in the sequential group as desired.
Maybe some other settings in the group have some impact, just try.
I think that should work as it is meant for homeworkers.

Thank you very much, I am going to have my techs try this and I will let you know.

All I want to do is set it up like VS Mail or Merlin Messaging where you can replace an answering service via Outcalling in a cascaded fashion so I think you are on the same page.
