Outcalling and Paging

I have two problems:

I have programmed outrcalling for messages arriving into a certain voicemail box. The extension has been set to out call too. The allowed numbers I programmed months ago worked and two of them needed to be changed. I went into the system programming, #406, #408 and programmed the new numbers. For some reason the new numbers appear, but the system still calls the old numbers.

Any suggestions? I reset the system and reprogrammed it with no success.

Also, our phone paging system does not work. I programmed Group Calling, Group 1 to be assigned and it worked briefly but the system keeps resetting the ASSIGNED to NOT ASSIGNED.

Outcalling is accomplished in the Voicemail, not the switch. So log into the mailbox, and press 6 for outcalling, press 4 to enter the outcalling number, and follow the prompts from there. Remember to start the outcalling number with "9*" to allow the voice mail to seize outside dial tone.

If you have put your extensions into calling group 1, vix #502-1-XX-1, and they later revert to unassigned, perhaps the memory battery is dead and you are experiencing power failures?

Also, save your changes to manual backup. Perhaps you are performing a restore?
